FSPL was founded in Oct 2019, with ambition and drive to overcome all challenges in the Indian UAV market.
The hunger for the adaption of new technologies led us to this sector.
We believe in globalization and technology transfers, to bridge the gap between Innovation and efficiency. In turn, channelling positive results on the social and economic front.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN DRONE INDUSTRY
Fligen System PVT LTD focus on occupying the Indian skies with top of the line Small and Medium sized drones. We want to focus on drone delivery and tackle all the challenges faced within the delivery sector.
Our collaboration
FligenSystems has collaborated internationally with Smartdigital GmbH and Eurodragons in order to get the drone technology to India.
Data Collection Programmes
Fligen Systems has worked in the field of renewable energy for renewable energy asset management and give inputs on increasing the efficiency. Fligen Systems has helped collect relevant and useful data for its gas and oil assignments.
Disaster Management
Fligen Systems provided a helping hand for disaster management that had occurred in Chamoli, Uttarakhand in 2021. Our drone services helped organizations collect relevant data for rescue operations.
Survey operations
Fligen Systems survey and mapping services have successfully mapped an area of 4000 acres. Fligen Systems have collected data that has been used to examine the efficiency of the transmission lines.

Fligen Systems, after being and studying the drone industry for 2 years has discovered a few challenges. After conducting a PEST analysis, Fligen Systems would like to highlight some key challenging factors of this industry.

Political Challenges
This section deals with the policies that govern the industry.
The current policy which is proposed by the DGCA and the MCA is very far-sighted and focuses on promoting Indian Manufacturers and their technological advancements. Today’s main challenge is bridging the gap between international technology and indigenous technology in India. As per the current policies, it is very difficult to import technologies and their ecosystem to India. However, Fligen Systems is trying to overcome these challenges by following the guidelines, rules, and regulations put forth by DGCA.
Policies are a forever evolving set of rules and regulations which should be made lenient in the future.

Economic Challenges:
This section mainly highlights the economic challenges in the drone industry.
The demand for the drone industry is on a rise due to the increased requirements from Government/private sectors. As the technology behind drones is new and evolving, a lot of POCs(proof of concept) are in place and are waiting to be executed. Due to the lack of mass production, Indian Manufacturers find it difficult to benefit from the economies of scale which results in higher prices of UAVs. This increases the service price exponentially.

The lack of knowledge on the applications of UAV has the possibility to have an effect on the decisions made by the consumer to opt for drones.
There are no high scale expos, exhibitions, or social gatherings which focus on UAV, drones and its application. This affects the social response towards UAVs.

A country’s technological advancements are assessed with the number of patents filed in that country. India is one of the leading innovation countries, however, the drone industry is still evolving.
The lack of proper modules, courses and education structure in the field of UAVs and Aerospace has effected the overall involvement of the Indian citizens. Public run innovation centres in the field of UAV and Aerospace is much required. Fligen Systems supports all such Universities/FTOs which promote and conduct such information and training activities.

From spraying sanitizers to delivering vaccines in Telangana, the acceptance of drones by SOI for mapping and surveying the entire country are motivating factors. These challenges mentioned above need a permanent solution that should facilitate both the business and social growth of mankind.
